Roger was the Managing Director and major shareholder of a South Australian based Information Technology (IT) Company until he initiated and guided its sale to a national IT group in 2000.
He was recognised as one of Adelaide's leading computer industry figures controlling South Australia's most prominent, privately owned computer business, along with other businesses he helped establish.
In 2003 Roger founded Consus, a consultancy practice specifically established to manage requests for business advisory services to utilise his entrepreneurial background, business experience and commercial skills
Well known in the business community, Roger has maintained a wide network of professional contacts in government, corporate, business and executive social events. He has chaired, and has been a board member, of numerous industry related associations and remains active in the broader business community.
Prior to establishing his own business, his career background was spent with companies such as IBM, NEC and Black & Decker where he held various management, sales and marketing roles. Educated in England, he attained tertiary qualifications and diplomas in Marketing, Advertising and Applied Economics.
Roger enjoys leading and maintaining teams focused on business development and success. He is a strategic thinker and experienced manager skilled in bringing teams together to develop business and operational plans, which result in positive outcomes.
He has consulted on numerous projects ranging from bid management for state based and multi-national companies; business development and strategic planning for local growing companies; and comprehensive reviews of government based and commercial organisations.
